Job Summary:
Carlton Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Sales and Order Administrator. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support via various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process orders on our internal system, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Liaise with various departments to manage the lifecycle of an order, from placement to delivery.
- Work closely with the transport and depot teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Update our CRM system with customer information, queries, and complaint management.
- Provide face-to-face customer service, handling cash transactions and resolving customer concerns.
- Liaise with purchasing, operations, and sales colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Book outside haulage and manage logistics.
Requirements:
- Proven customer service experience, with a strong focus on communication and problem-solving.
- Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficiency in computer systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Attention to detail and a questioning mindset to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Project experience is a plus, but not required.
- A flexible, open, and positive attitude is essential for success in this role.
- Geographical knowledge of the country and road network is beneficial.
