Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders on our internal system, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Liaise with various departments to manage the lifecycle of an order, from placement to delivery.
  • Work closely with the transport and depot teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Update our CRM system with customer information, queries, and complaint management.
  • Provide face-to-face customer service, handling cash transactions and resolving customer concerns.
  • Liaise with purchasing, operations, and sales colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Book outside haulage and manage logistics.

Requirements:

  • Proven customer service experience, with a strong focus on communication and problem-solving.
  • Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Attention to detail and a questioning mindset to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Project experience is a plus, but not required.
  • A flexible, open, and positive attitude is essential for success in this role.
  • Geographical knowledge of the country and road network is beneficial.
