Job Title: Paralegal - Fraud & Crime

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team at ABV Solicitors. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our solicitors with the preparation of casework, dealing with complex legal issues, and liaising with counsel, courts, and other third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting solicitors with the preparation of casework, including researching and drafting documents
  • Dealing with complex and novel legal issues, including conducting research and providing advice
  • Liaising with counsel, courts, witnesses, and other third parties, including communicating with clients and stakeholders
  • Taking client instructions and progressing cases from start to finish

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background, preferably with a law degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within a law firm, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to conduct legal research and provide advice on complex legal issues
  • Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
