About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Town Planner to join our team at KAP Recruitment Ltd. As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our communities through the development of innovative and sustainable urban planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement urban planning strategies that promote economic growth, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including local government, community groups, and private sector organizations, to ensure that planning solutions meet the needs of all parties.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in urban planning, and develop recommendations for future development.
  • Prepare and present planning reports, proposals, and other documents to stakeholders, including local government officials, community leaders, and private sector representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Town Planning, or a related field.
  • Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or eligibility for membership.
  • Proven experience in urban planning, preferably in a consultancy or local government setting.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning laws and regulations.
