Job Summary:

Venn Group is seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded procurement professional to lead our client's digital transformation and innovation initiatives. As Head of Sourcing - Infrastructure, Digital Transformation & Innovation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to deliver year-on-year benefits, savings, and supply chain improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for non-pay expenditure categories, integrating internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value within a compliant framework.
  • Provide commercial/strategic procurement advice, lead high-profile procurements, and drive cost improvement programs.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders, offer expert advice on procurement and contractual decisions, and work collaboratively with clinical staff and suppliers to improve procurement performance.
  • Establish sourcing procedures, monitor supplier performance, and provide advice on market testing, whole life costing, and contracting activities.
  • Foster a teamwork approach, embedding a culture of improvement and best practices across the team.

Requirements:

  • Master's/Degree level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Continuing professional development.
  • Expertise in ICT/Digital category strategies, major tenders, and procurement.
  • Leading complex procurement and category management projects.
  • Change management in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Cost and spend management for capital and revenue.
  • Staff performance management and development.
  • Advising senior managers and Board Directors on strategic decisions.
  • Knowledge of NHS environment, strategy, and policy, particularly around NHS and Public Sector.
