About the Role

At abrdn, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Source to Pay team. As the Head of Source to Pay, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sourcing approach that drives business value and improves service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Source to Pay team, ensuring all team members are competent and maintain the correct skills expected.
  • Develop, implement, and lead strategic and tactical sourcing strategy across all categories and business divisions.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance across all Source to Pay teams, ensuring collaboration at all levels to deliver the widest range of benefits and opportunities.
  • Lead and drive engagement with key senior business leaders, ensuring the source to pay strategy supports and addresses their key department objectives and challenges.

Requirements

  • MBA or other advanced degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience of strategic results' delivery under pressure.
  • Extensive experience of successfully leading a team within a strategic source to pay function and demonstrating strong management and organisational skills.
