Main Responsibilities- Oversee the clinical management of the ward, ensuring that all patients receive appropriate respiratory support.
- Manage staff performance, conduct regular appraisals, and address any issues related to sickness or absenteeism.
- Maintain health and safety standards on the ward, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and protocols.
- Identify and mentor future leaders within your team, contributing to succession planning.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC register.
- Substantial relevant and recent clinical experience within a complex healthcare setting or Acute NHS setting.
- Experience of team leadership and management within the healthcare setting.
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
