Position Overview:
As a Logistics Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Warehouse Supervisory team within a dynamic and fast-paced setting. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential tasks, ensuring smooth operations across the warehouse.
Compensation Package: Competitive salary, bonus structure, pension plan, 4 x life insurance, healthcare benefits, and 25 days of annual leave (including a holiday shutdown), along with onsite parking facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct stock management activities, including inventory put-aways and stock relocations.
- Engage in picking operations, either from the main warehouse or the MEZZ floor (small bin picking).
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance tasks as needed, which may involve overtime and weekend shifts.
Essential Skills for Daily Operations:
- Operate three types of forklifts (in-house training will be provided for unqualified candidates).
- Utilize various handling aids as necessary, both electric and manual.
- Move and/or rearrange inventory (various box sizes and weights) through manual handling or lifting equipment.
- Safely operate and pick from airport ladders.
- Possess IT skills and computer literacy for training on relevant Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office applications.
- Work with precision and attention to detail, whether as part of a team or independently.
- Adhere to strict timelines, particularly regarding picking and goods-in priorities.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Address and resolve immediate issues related to picking, put-aways, goods in, or dispatch.
- Maintain effective housekeeping standards.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations within the warehouse.
