DB Video & Security Category Management Leader
Mission:
The Video & Security Category Management Leader is a key member of the Global team, engaging in a dynamic and collaborative environment across Digital Energy and Country Teams. This role involves close collaboration with other leaders within DE Zones to establish the commercial and category strategies for DB Video & Security. The position offers significant visibility to both Internal and External Senior Management, making it ideal for a high-potential candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivating the Video & Security commercial relationships and ensuring alignment with Country Front Offices; engaging at a senior level with Front Office teams and external partners, as well as with DB Lines of Business and Business Units.
- Collaborating with Business Units and Countries to shape and implement the Video & Security commercial strategy into an annual Marketing Plan, with targeted actions per Country and defined growth objectives, while supporting regular reviews and initiatives.
- Ensuring that each targeted Country Front Office organization has the necessary framework, skills, and key position assignments to thrive.
- Accountable for driving a profitable and sustainable business, focusing on revenue and margin growth.
- Overseeing the Video & Security category offers portfolio across Global Countries, acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and coordinating needs with Hubs/Zones while prioritizing business cases with the Line of Business.
- Developing and executing the 4Ps of marketing: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion in collaboration with Front Offices.
- Adapting and implementing the Go-To-Market, Pricing, and Margin strategies.
- Supporting the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning Process (SIOP2).
- Encouraging and managing Country commitments on growth initiatives and business objectives.
- Maximizing market penetration by utilizing all relevant channels with effective Go-To-Market strategies and execution.
- Collaborating with the Launch Manager and Countries on product launches.
- Working with Countries and Business Units to identify and propose key offer gaps, supported by robust business case justifications.
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a multi-country context.
- Prior experience in Video & Security sectors.
- Strong ability to understand, influence, and persuade customers and internal stakeholders in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to perform under pressure while maintaining high performance standards.
- Proficient in developing and managing relationships with senior leadership and influential stakeholders.
- Leadership in utilizing digital tools (BFO, Tableau, OneFin, Teams, SharePoint) for personal efficiency and engagement with countries/customers.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Preferred Master's degree in Engineering and/or Business.
- An MBA will be considered an advantage.
