About the Role

As a skilled Mechanic with MOT Testing experience, you will take on the crucial responsibility of ensuring commercial vans are roadworthy, safe, and compliant with regulations. You will perform a wide range of tasks from diagnostics to servicing and repairs, as well as conducting MOT tests on a variety of vehicles. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Our client is an established independent garage specialising in the service and repair of commercial vans in Aberdeen. They have built a strong reputation for providing efficient, top-quality workmanship with a focus on customer care. You will be joining a team that prides itself on expertise and delivering reliable service to a loyal customer base.

Key Duties
  • Perform MOT tests on a range of commercial vans to ensure vehicles meet road safety standards.
  • Conduct general diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles.
  • Accurately identify issues, offer repair solutions, and ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed in the garage.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, providing updates and technical advice when required.
Key Requirements
  • Fully qualified Mechanic with a valid MOT Testing certification.
  • Proven experience working with commercial vehicles, especially vans.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
