About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services. As an MOT Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of vehicles on the road.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough MOT tests on light vehicles to identify any defects or issues
  • Carry out light vehicle maintenance tasks, such as servicing and repairs, as required
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle's condition

Requirements
  • Current MOT Testing Licence (No licence? Other opportunities available for Mechanic's & Technician's)
  • Full drivers licence with less than 9 points
  • Team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance, when not performing MOT's
