Aberdeen Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic with MOT Testing experience to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Mechanic/MOT Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring commercial vans are roadworthy, safe, and compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MOT tests on a range of commercial vans to ensure vehicles meet road safety standards.
- Conduct general diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles.
- Accurately identify issues, offer repair solutions, and ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed in the garage.
- Maintain clear communication with customers, providing updates and technical advice when required.
- Fully qualified Mechanic with a valid MOT Testing certification.
- Proven experience working with commercial vehicles, especially vans.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Our client is an established independent garage specialising in the service and repair of commercial vans in Aberdeen. They have built a strong reputation for providing efficient, top-quality workmanship with a focus on customer care.
Working HoursMonday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, giving you the benefit of a solid work-life balance.
