Commercial Director

The Global Search Company is seeking a seasoned Commercial Director to spearhead the expansion of our industrial material wholesaling business into Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals and objectives to drive growth and expansion.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify commercial opportunities and create detailed business plans.
- Understand customer requirements to ensure their needs are met and exceed expectations.
- Acquire new customers and manage client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to drive business results.
- Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Monitor commercial performance using key metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a sales director or other relevant role with a track record of success.
- Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients.
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
