Job Title: Commercial Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to join our team at 1st Executive Ltd. As a key player in our Capital Procurement Team, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end strategic Commercial direction for programmes, including concept, strategy, contract development, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Commercial strategy for programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the procurement process for design and build contractors, major highways, and structure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate Commercial risks, ensuring optimal project outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Provide expert Commercial guidance and support to project teams, ensuring effective Commercial decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Director or similar role in a major Public Sector organisation.
  • Strong background in Capital Project and Construction procurement, with expertise in Professional Services Contract and Engineering & Construction Contract.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex Commercial data and make informed decisions.
