About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and positive individual to join our team as a part-time Library Assistant in the Stroud cluster of libraries. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations, development, and organization of Stroud and Nailsworth libraries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to library users, ensuring they have access to all services and resources.
  • Deliver activities and events, such as Baby Bounce and Rhyme, and Sensory Story times, to engage with our community.
  • Master library ICT systems and offer basic advice on computer and tablet use to those who require it.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals and objectives.

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a passion for working with children. You should have a good understanding of the services libraries offer and the role they play in the community.
