Job Summary:
The Cellar Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Safe Spaces team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective running of the service, providing day-to-day supervision and support to Crisis Support Workers, and delivering one-to-one crisis support to young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Service Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Safe Spaces team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to young people in crisis.
- Supervision and Support: Offer day-to-day supervision and support to Crisis Support Workers, including organizing rotas, leading team meetings, and taking responsibility for health and safety.
- Crisis Support: Deliver one-to-one crisis support to young people in a recovery-focused and person-centered way, building confidence and helping them to move forward.
- Referrals and Outreach: Manage referrals, book appointments, and make onward referrals as necessary. Offer outreach sessions within the community, including at care homes, community centers, schools, and in client homes.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Liaise with professionals and organizations across the district, including referrers and partners, to ensure effective collaboration and partnership working.
Requirements:
- Leadership and Management: Proven experience of leading and managing teams, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services.
- Crisis Support and Intervention: Experience of delivering crisis support and intervention services to young people, with a strong understanding of the complexities of crisis support.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and partners.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to think critically and solve problems, with a flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
