Community Support Reablement Officer

  • Understand and apply manual handling and health and safety practices, including conducting risk assessments.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence, making choices, and utilizing community resources.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and data protection protocols, ensuring accurate report writing and record-keeping.
  • Engage with colleagues from various statutory and non-statutory organizations.
  • Demonstrate experience working with vulnerable individuals within a safeguarding framework and knowledge of relevant legislation.

Service Details: This role is part of a borough-wide initiative aimed at promoting independent living. The service operates seven days a week on a shift rota basis.

Professional Development: Successful candidates will have the opportunity to achieve a CQC-recognized Care Certificate.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a current clean driving license and be able to travel across the borough.
  • Enhanced DBS check will be required for successful applicants.
