The Estates and Facilities Department provides strategic and operational services support to the University infrastructure, buildings, and landholdings. We are a large and diverse department employing approximately 1300 people and provide a wide range of services across our UK sites.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety/Compliance Manager to join our Estates and Facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and best practice in the critical area of health and safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and university policies across Estates & Facilities activities.
  • Identify, develop, implement, and monitor improvements to current contractor management arrangements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve health and safety objectives.
