About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Operative. As a key member of our operational support function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and supporting our operations in meeting their targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Ambulance Service Vehicles in a prescribed and controlled way to ensure each ambulance is fully equipped and prepared to attend and treat a patient.
  • Conduct detailed cleaning and Infection Prevention and Control activities, checking and inspecting medical and lifting & handling equipment, restocking all consumables, and completing vehicle checks.
  • Prepare consumables, manage stock control, re-fuel vehicles, and move them across various locations, recording all daily activities and the repatriation of equipment from Hospital Trusts.
