Job Summary:

Howard Tenens Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Ashby site. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a warehouse team, ensuring that high standards of hygiene, quality, and performance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate flexibly in a warehouse team working environment, promoting safe working practices and highlighting any potential quality issues to the Manager.
  • Complete necessary process control and quality documented records in a timely manner (QC Checks).
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and fork lift vehicles.
  • Utilize good PC literacy and proficiency in using warehouse systems, with the ability to learn new systems after suitable training.
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work and H&S policies/procedures applicable to the company premises and operations.
  • Work in a small team with minimal supervision to consistently produce results that meet targets agreed with customers or set by the company.
  • Possess both Flexi and Counterbalance forklift drivers' licenses.
  • Participate in development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
