Overview
Pragmatic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our automated wafer test systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting projects aimed at major architectural developments to improve the capacity and capabilities of our production test system.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation software to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our test systems.
- Develop and implement systems and procedures for software testing, automated build, and deployment to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Provide technical supervision to other members of the team, including mentoring and guidance on software development best practices.
- Collaborate with suppliers and other team members to evaluate new test equipment and technologies.
- Analyze test data to identify stability issues and propose improvements to optimize system performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of electronics and its core principles.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems with multiple variables.
- Strong ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, LabVIEW, or similar.
- Experience with web application development using Python and Django.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, or R.
- Source Code Control using Git or SVN.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and scripting or software tools to access, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Experience in technical supervision and project leadership.
