About the Role

We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our team as a Maths and English Tutor. As a Tutor, you will work with disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners, creating and delivering tailored lessons to bridge gaps in their education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and plan 1:1 tailored lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils
  • Deliver lessons to bridge gaps in education and improve engagement and attainment levels
  • Work with a creative, flexible, and holistic approach to raise attainment and improve the outlook of learners' educational journey
Requirements
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working as a Tutor, preferably with disengaged young people
  • Experience working with SEMH and SEN
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide a minimum of two references to cover the last two years
