About the Role:
Belmont Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Family Assessment Centre Manager to oversee our operations at a Family Assessment Centre.


Key Responsibilities:
As the Family Assessment Centre Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the management of a Residential Family Assessment Centre, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Developing and implementing a service development plan aimed at delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Providing motivational leadership to the team, fostering a culture of excellence in care and support for children and families.
  • Overseeing the recruitment process, including vetting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members.
  • Coordinating casework and administrative functions, while evaluating performance standards.
  • Maintaining professional development for yourself and your team, ensuring all staff possess the necessary skills and expertise.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with employees, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and commissioning authorities to meet the needs of families.
  • Chairing meetings and reviews as necessary, ensuring ethical standards are upheld by all staff.
  • Managing staff appraisals, supervision, and support, while organizing duty rotas to meet family needs.
  • Ensuring adherence to financial and administrative procedures, working within budget constraints.
  • Coordinating safe medication practices and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in corporate and management activities as directed by company leadership.


Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or a commitment to pursue this qualification.
  • Extensive experience in a family assessment setting.
  • A strong understanding of child protection and family support services.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
