About the Role:
As a Unit Manager at Exemplar Health Care, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional clinical care within your designated unit. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading and managing a dedicated team of nursing and care professionals to ensure the holistic needs of residents are met.
- Providing strong leadership to uphold and enhance high standards of care while fostering continuous improvement.
- Overseeing clinical operations and managing risks associated with patient care.
- Ensuring timely completion and review of care plans and risk assessments, accurately reflecting the required interventions.
- Acting as the Named Nurse for assigned residents, responsible for the oversight and regular updates of their care profiles.
- Supervising the management of medication processes, including ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal.
