The Portfolio Group is a leading provider of HR and Employment Law services to a diverse range of clients. We are proud to be representing our award-winning client in their search for a highly skilled HR Advisor to join their team.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide reliable and commercially focused HR and Employment Law advice to clients on all matters of HR from general to complex queries. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality HR and Employment Law advice to clients via phone and email
  • Support clients with HR issues and queries, including absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to client HR issues
  • Review client documentation and provide advice accordingly
  • Ensure all requests for advice are dealt with within the relevant service level agreement (SLA)

Requirements

  • Good employment law knowledge, either through studies or working experience
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in the workplace is desirable
  • Previous experience of working in a KPI/target driven environment, ideally in a shared service centre
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize workload accordingly
  • An organized self-starter with excellent communication skills
