Operational Risk Manager Job Description

Citigroup, Inc., a leading global bank, is seeking a skilled Operational Risk Manager to join our team. As a strategic professional, you will play a critical role in minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational risk policies, technology, and tools to create lasting solutions.
  • Independently assess risks and drive actions to address root causes of operational risk losses.
  • Provide governance and oversight, including technology operational risk.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Issues Management (KPI/KRI/Corrective Action Plans).
  • Resolve transactional level escalations from vendors or internal partners.
  • Analyze scorecards and performance management tools to mitigate exposure.
  • Monitor goals through performance, risk, and relationship oversight of our extended supply chain.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across business users and Lines of Defence.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience navigating and networking across an enterprise.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational processes and technology platforms.
  • Business writing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
