About the Role
Our award-winning Food and Beverage Team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef de Rang to join them in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role is based within our Conference and Events Team, where we cater for both internal and external events.
As a Chef de Rang, you will assist the management team in ensuring that guests receive an efficient, courteous, and personalized service at all times. You will serve as a role model to less experienced team members, ensuring that the department is always ready for service and that associates are fully conversant with the menu available to guests.
You will be responsible for setting up event spaces prior to functions, supporting management in training and coaching other team members, and contributing to the organizational structure of the department.
About You
You will be a sociable, friendly, and enthusiastic individual who prides themselves on providing exceptional customer service. You will have strong attention to detail and communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team. Ideally, you will have recent working experience within a similar Food and Beverage role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist our Food and Beverage Management Team in ensuring that all guests receive an efficient, courteous, and personalized service.
- Ensure the department is always ready for service.
- Be fully conversant with the menu available to guests.
- Set up event spaces prior to functions.
Salary
This is a permanent opportunity working 40 hours per week over a flexible shift pattern, 5 days out of 7. A competitive salary of £26,000 is offered, along with a range of excellent employee benefits.
