Position Overview

The successful candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional standards of childcare and early education, ensuring that the nursery's objectives are met while fostering a secure and nurturing atmosphere for children.

Key Responsibilities

Woodlands Day Nursery, affiliated with Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, is seeking a Childcare Educator to enhance their established professional childcare team. This nursery accommodates 72 children and provides services to the staff of the NHS Trust, in addition to operating a playscheme for 24 children during school breaks.

The ideal applicant will possess at least a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent credential, or have relevant experience working with children aged 6 months to 5 years. Experience with children aged 5-12 years is considered an advantage.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual who can assume the role of key person, tailoring activities to the interests of the children, while also supporting fellow team members. Strong communication skills, effective customer service abilities, and a collaborative spirit are essential.

In return for your dedication, we offer a comprehensive range of training opportunities, both internal and external, to support your professional growth.

Available Positions:

1 position for 1 day per week and 1 position for 30 hours per week.
