About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Carshalton Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on your needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Engage children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and happy environment.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
