Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

The Recruitment Bunker Ltd is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Coventry. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for providing safe and documented control systems to facilitate automotive manufacturing assemblies with a Right First Time approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement control systems to optimize manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturability
  • Implement and develop documentation processes and tooling through approved portfolio project and change management release processes
  • Introduce lean manufacturing principles to optimize effectiveness of manufacturing operations
  • Support AME in program activities for NPI to produce Manufacturing Engineering key targets
Requirements:
  • HNC qualification or equivalent in Manufacturing engineering or equivalent
  • Min 3-5 years' experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment, with relevant experience as a Manufacturing/Process/Production Engineer within a fast-paced, forward-thinking business
  • Strong background covering Manufacturing Engineering principles
  • Ability to identify risks, use problem-solving techniques, develop, and safely implement new processes within a production and manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Packages
