At Battery NEXUS, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing assembly and in-process test processes and facilities to deliver safety, quality, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement assembly and in-process test processes and facilities to ensure safety, quality, and cost objectives.
- Plan, develop, and implement installation timing plans with key suppliers.
- Ensure robust process planning, including build simulations and PFMEAs.
- Verify assembly process and equipment at suppliers and at the manufacturing facility.
- Manage technical issues and escalate where necessary.
- Achieve equipment capability and availability targets.
- Support the resolution of technical issues.
- Plan, develop, and implement written processes for manufacturing and all tooling, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing.
- Previous experience in manufacturing/engineering processes, tools, and techniques with a hands-on approach to engineering.
- Experience in facility installation, project management, capability validation, commissioning, and product launch.
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams and flexibility to support projects from early concepts to launch.
- Ability to use CAD packages to review engineering drawings and models.
- Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing systems.
- Ability to problem-solve technical and manufacturing issues.
- Previous project management experience.
- Working understanding of process creation systems.
- Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative.
