We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Mental Health Inpatient Care for older adults. As a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions to support our patients in achieving their maximum level of function and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, person-centred OT assessments and interventions to support patients in achieving their goals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans and rehabilitation programs in consultation with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead and guide registered and non-registered staff and students in the delivery of occupational therapy services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and policies within the Trust.
- Qualifications: BSc Hons Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Registration: HCPC registered.
- Experience: Experience of working in Mental Health Settings.
- Clinical Reasoning: Evidence-based and reflective practice.
- Written Skills: Application content, organisation, relevance to post.
