About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tarmac. As a key member of our site team, you will be responsible for maintaining all plant equipment across the site to ensure efficient productivity and adherence to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance on production machinery
  • Meet statutory and SHE standards as a minimum
  • Work on a variety of plant throughout the block manufacturing site as directed
  • Record all work on the site CMMS system
  • Work independently with good communication skills

Requirements

  • IOSH training would be an advantage
  • Experience of maintaining/replacing mechanical parts, including bearings, shafts, rollers, pumps
  • Skilled with hand tools, bearing presses, and fitting tools
  • Skilled with basic welding and burning
  • Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment
  • Experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment
