About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a Mechanical/Electrical bias to join our Maintenance team at our Clover Nook Site in Somercotes, Alfreton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of DC motors and associated drives
  • Maintenance and repair of Electrical Control Systems
  • Electrical installations and/or mechanical installation work
  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance tasks (Mechanical and Electrical)
  • Breakdown maintenance involving fault finding on industrial and process control systems
  • Resolve Electrical and Mechanical repairs on PVCu Extrusion Plant Equipment
  • Liaising and supporting external contractors and suppliers when on site
Requirements
  • Recognised Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship / training scheme Level 3
  • Significant Electrical and Mechanical experience gained in a manufacturing environment (installation and maintenance)
  • Understand and interpret Electrical and Mechanical Schematic circuit drawings
  • Driving license as may be required to assist on other sites
