Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled German Speaking Account Manager to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to major accounts in the German and East European regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets and manage major accounts, driving business development opportunities.
  • Develop new business opportunities and action plans for new purchase order placement.
  • Monitor sales activity on major contracts and report weekly on targets, gaps, and recovery plans.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of products, market trends, and competitor activity, advising the Director of Sales on significant developments.
  • Lead conflict resolution and ensure compliance with long-term agreements, conducting quarterly customer reviews to align with P&L objectives.
Requirements:
  • Fluent knowledge of written and spoken German.
  • Strong experience of sales and account management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • EU and UK travel will be an essential part of this role, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel overseas on a weekly basis.
