Job Title: Commercial Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Development Coordinator to join our team at the Archaeology Data Service (ADS). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in increasing our commercial income and supporting the Collections Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to gain a better understanding of client networks and identify new markets.
  • Undertake cost analysis under the supervision of the Collections Development Manager and aid in the development of new cost models.
  • Provide customer-focused duties such as providing and following up on quotations, maintaining an up-to-date client list, and maintaining accurate records for commercial projects within the ADS's Collection Management System.
  • Develop the ADS commercial client base, increase commercial revenue, forge new partnerships, and strengthen our reputation as a world-leading digital archive for the UK's national heritage sector.

The ADS is a world-leading digital repository that provides digital data archiving services for UK archaeology. We work closely with external partners, both in Higher Education and in the public and commercial archaeological sectors.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong understanding of digital preservation and a passion for developing new business opportunities.
