Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Development Coordinator to join our team at the Archaeology Data Service (ADS). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in increasing our commercial income and supporting the Collections Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to gain a better understanding of client networks and identify new market opportunities.
  • Undertake cost analysis under the supervision of the Collections Development Manager to develop new cost models.
  • Provide customer-focused services, including quotations, client list maintenance, and accurate record-keeping for commercial projects within our Collection Management System.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to increase commercial revenue, forge new partnerships, and strengthen our reputation as a world-leading digital archive.

The ADS is a world-leading digital repository providing digital data archiving services for UK archaeology. We work closely with external partners in Higher Education and the public and commercial archaeological sectors.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of digital preservation and data management principles is essential.
