About the Role

As a Financial Accountant at Investigo, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' financial accounting needs, ensuring that all financial records are maintained in line with both internal company policy and UK accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and review consolidated monthly balance sheets and cash flow reports for the group, including the review and collation of regional submissions in accordance with IFRS.
    • Review weekly cash flow forecasts for the Group.
    • Collate and provide information requests as part of the year-end audit process to external auditors.
  • Financial Analysis
    • Assist in drafting all UK statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS and relevant notes in time for filing with Companies House.
    • Prepare and post month-end journals into Netsuite.
    • Maintain intercompany reconciliations across the Group and resolve any differences.
  • Tax Compliance
    • Prepare and submit all monthly/quarterly VAT returns for the UK and Lithuania.
    • Prepare PSA (PAYE and NICs) and tax packs for analysis of accounts for preparation of tax computations.
  • Financial Planning
    • Prepare budget and forecast balance sheet and cash flow reports.
    • Perform annual impairment reviews of all CGUs with the Group Financial Controller.
  • Process Improvement
    • Carry out any reasonable project work or ad-hoc tasks as requested.
    • Support the team as required, providing cover for team members in times of absence (cash and banking, AP and AR).

Requirements

We are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Financial Accountant with one to three years of post-qualified experience. Candidates looking to make a first move into industry will also be considered.
