Key Responsibilities- Lead the education and development of student midwives within maternity services
- Work collaboratively with the Practice Development Midwife and education teams to ensure clinical teaching is of the highest standard
- Develop and deliver lectures and presentations to student midwives
- Support midwives in facilitating student learning in practice
- Organize and facilitate teaching sessions for student midwives
- Coordinate practice placements and rota management for student midwives

Requirements- NMC registered midwife
- First degree qualification
- 997/998 mentorship/Practice Assessor/ Practice Supervisor
- Experience of working with and supporting student midwives
- Coordination of practice placements or rota management
- Management/coordination of a team
- Teaching and assessment of students in practice
- Able to organize and facilitate teaching sessions
