Position Overview: We are in search of a vibrant and committed Educator of Musical Arts to join an enthusiastic team of educators. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire and engage students in the captivating subject of Music. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal growth of our diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver captivating and informative Music lessons that address the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Promote a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel encouraged and motivated.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance learning experiences and foster active participation.
  • Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create curriculum materials, schemes of work, and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to maintain strong partnerships and ensure student success.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level, with a proven record of student achievement.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for imparting it to others.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students from varied backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and the pursuit of excellence in teaching.
