Position Overview: This opportunity is situated within the Manufacturing Engineering division, emphasizing support for production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance during New Product Introduction (NPI) builds and offer feedback on design for assembly to the engineering team.
  • Ensure that Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and routing are accurately applied and maintained to facilitate manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement assembly techniques while creating comprehensive work instructions.
  • Design and establish production assembly jigs and fixtures to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify fault trends and prioritize necessary corrective measures.
  • Install, configure, and maintain tools and equipment on the production line.
  • Align manufacturing processes with best practices in health and safety compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Science, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a comparable manufacturing support position.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with electronic testing and automated systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, ideally as a standard work tool champion.
  • Experience with ERP systems, BOM structures, and assembly routing.
  • Proficiency in mechanical CAD viewing and design software.

Additional Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in IT productivity tools, including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • A background in electro-mechanical module assembly.
  • Excellent data analysis capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
