Job Title: Specialist Critical Care and Surgical Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Critical Care and Surgical Dietitian to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dietetic department, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition care to patients undergoing complex cardiac and thoracic surgery.

The successful candidate will have significant post-graduate experience in relevant specialist areas, including cardio-thoracic surgery and critical care. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex nutritional needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.

We are looking for a dietitian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has a strong commitment to professional development. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent, with registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will also have a strong understanding of IT systems and be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
