About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing planning project work in-house, as part of the team. This will involve initial site appraisals and evaluation, preparation of written reports and statements, and submission of all planning application documentation. The role will also involve meeting and negotiating with Planning Officers and other parties involved in the application process, as well as being involved in Planning Committee and Appeal situations, as required.

About the Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an experienced Town Planner with a background in either a private or public sector setting, working for a consultancy, local authority, developer, or land promoter. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years professional planning experience and be at a stage in their career where they are ready to take ownership of projects. They will also have high standards of written and verbal communication, be ambitious and self-motivated, but also a genuine team player, and have a keen interest in the full land and planning process.
