About the Role

As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our workshop team, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and that our team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of skilled technicians to deliver exceptional customer service and meet business targets
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards
  • Manage workshop operations, including allocation of jobs and resources
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical training to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance standard or equivalent time served
  • Experience of managing/supervising a team/workshop to drive performance and delivery
  • Experience of developing colleagues through delivery of technical training
  • Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
  • A current full valid driving licence
