Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated dental officer to join our Special Care/Paediatric Dental Service in Gloucestershire. As an Adult Social Care Specialist, you will provide comprehensive clinical care to adult and paediatric patients who require special dental care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine clinical care for patients who require special dental care, including treatment under inhalation and IV sedation, as well as general anaesthesia.
- Work closely with a team of dental therapists and senior clinicians to provide high-quality care.
- Travel to different sites to meet the needs of the service, including domiciliary and hospital settings.
- Collaborate with the Specialist in Special Care Dentistry to develop and implement care plans.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Qualifications, training, and experience in dental care, preferably in special care dentistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time, with a minimum of three days per week.
