About the Company:
Our client is a well-established contractor specializing in minerals and aggregates, boasting extensive expertise in the machinery sector.

Job Overview:
In the role of Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) branded machinery, performing diagnostics and thorough inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute inspections, local preparations, and brake assessments.
- Procure necessary parts for repairs.
- Provide assistance and mentorship to team members as required.
- Complete all documentation and systems related to assigned duties.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Technician, or in a comparable position.
- Over 5 years of experience in heavy construction machinery repair (including Bulldozers, Dump Trucks, Excavators, Graders, Loading Shovels, etc.).
- Familiarity with Tier 4 and 5 engines, as well as Regen & Adblue Systems.
- Technical proficiency in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field.
