Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Tech Support team as a Senior Trading Systems Support Specialist.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Head of Support to provide expert-level support for complex technical issues related to our platforms and products.

You will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime for production trading systems, providing timely resolution and excellent client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure maximum uptime for production trading systems using real-time monitoring
  • Provide expert-level 2 and 3 support for complex technical issues related to our platforms and products
  • Become a specialist in trading environment-specific knowledge and effectively coordinate across teams to solve system issues
  • Continuous monitoring of application alerts to ensure systems are running optimally
  • Maintain and enforce good quality internal documentation for troubleshooting processes, common issues and their resolutions
  • Provide guidance and training to junior support engineers
  • Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, documentation and communication
  • Perform weekly support duties checklists
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in a highly skilled technical application support role with a trading firm (buy side or sell side), preferably within cryptocurrency, FX, or equities
  • A self-starter - able to take and own a problem and, by seeking assistance where needed, follow it through to resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of financial products, trading system architecture and risk/compliance
  • Experience reading code and can develop scripts to help with automation and analysis
  • Help in setting up the support model within the team long term
  • Provide phone or remote support in the non-office hours when required
  • Preferably open to working shift hours
  • An interest in monitoring, alerting and reporting initiatives
  • Passionate about helping people with mixed technical ability
  • Experience with Apple MacBooks and Linux technologies
