Role Overview: The Information Technology Supervisor will be responsible for directing and managing the IT infrastructure operations and strategic planning within the organization. This position involves providing insights and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team regarding future initiatives, technological advancements, and procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of technical support teams, ensuring adequate training and assistance is provided as necessary.
  • Facilitate the setup of desktop and laptop systems across various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Mac, which encompasses purchasing and managing returns and warranties.

Network Management:

  • Administer the office's network infrastructure, focusing on security protocols, role-based access, VPN configurations, data backups, and wireless connectivity.
  • Support the organization in maintaining compliance with ISO27001 standards, which includes conducting penetration tests, managing security policies, and overseeing the asset and access control registry, including a secure password management system and incident response.

System Administration:

  • Manage the internal Sage server and SSL certificates.
  • Oversee the administration of Office 365, including a project for migrating company files from an internal server to OneDrive.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud is essential.
  • Familiarity with ISO27001 standards is preferred; training will be provided if necessary.
  • A solid background in IT infrastructure management is required.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 administration is crucial.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server/Azure SQL and virtualization technologies is beneficial.
  • Understanding of continuous integration and deployment practices using tools like Azure DevOps and Git, particularly for .NET, Magento, and WordPress projects.
  • Knowledge of Azure networking components, including Virtual Network, VPN Gateway, and Network Security Groups, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with container technologies, while not mandatory, will be beneficial for future initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, operations teams, and other IT personnel.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development is essential.
