Product and Process Engineer

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting, newly created role for a highly skilled professional to join a highly motivated team and help create products that improve lives.

  • **Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams**: Collaborate with relevant departments (Research and Development, Operations, Procurement) to ensure the cost-effective and timely introduction of new products, including planning and overseeing new manufacturing processes and resolving production bottlenecks.
  • **Process Optimization**: Identify and implement processes for new products, ensuring both product and process quality are maintained, and conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving where required.
  • **Design Transfer and Implementation**: Manage design transfer by producing project timelines and costings, assessing tooling requirements, placing orders, and updating technical literature, while also facilitating feasibility studies and implementing necessary design change controls.
  • **Supply Chain Management**: Collaborate with suppliers and procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and components to support production schedules.
  • **Continuous Improvement**: Lead continuous improvement projects using lean methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role related to process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in production process improvement for efficiency (material utilization, time, cost, quality, compliance).
  • Experience working with different materials such as wood, sheet plastic, fabric, sheet cardboard, etc.
