We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in a key role that will drive process reliability and stability on our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive process reliability and stability by solving chronic problems on the line:
    • Understand and analyze process variability root causes and define systems to eliminate them.
    • Design and define critical process parameters and centrelines; track and ensure adherence to them.
    • Provide technical confirmation to any request or proposal that affects the process or equipment.
  • Process data gathering and issues analysis:
    • Implement and maintain systems to collect, collate, and analyze data on key process parameters.
    • Identify and prioritize process capability issues for performance or quality.
    • Coach and teach the team to solve these issues.
  • Improve process capability and quality:
    • Identify improvement opportunities and projects.
    • Take responsibility for implementation by leading and coaching the line teams.

Requirements

  • Educated in Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience in food processes and products.
  • Good knowledge of engineering health and safety and legislation.
  • Analytical and conceptual skills, technical judgment, and design knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) processes and programs.
  • Placement experience in the Food Industry.
  • Leading or coaching others.
