Responsibilities- Develop task definitions with the technical lead
- Define model and control algorithm requirements

- Prepare and present results, models etc to customers
- Formal verification procedures
- Author model documentation
- Degree qualified in a related discipline (preferably Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Mathematics, Physics, or similar)
- Strong understanding of model based processes, Matlab/Simulink and control theory
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work and collaborate within a team of engineers
- Application within the Marine sector
- Advanced control theory, such as Kalman filters, and state estimation
- Sea state modelling
- Real time models
- Code generation
- C/C++
The role would be grade 3 - 6, which is equivalent to £30,000 - £54,000 dependent on experience. We offer a range of benefits to our employees to recognise their efforts, including regular events and a flexible working environment.
